Hello guys. I need to improve my ELO, I have plateaued at ELO 2000. I haven’t been doing tactics for a while. I was doing puzzle rush but they don’t explain the reasoning behind the tactics. I need a book that will walk me through the reasoning process to solve tactics.

I found Improve Your Chess Tactics by Yakov Neishtadt to be the best, it has 700 well explained tactics and helps you through the thinking process. There is also another one by Susan Polgar called Chess Tactics for Champions. You cannot go wrong with these two. But i also suggest you do a lot of online tactics. Especially the timed one, it will help you see patterns faster.
