    I would also like to go for Magnus Carlsen. I wish that he wins the Chess World Championship again. Robert James Fischer is of course, the classic favourite.

    I think women’s competitions should continue for now and women should get better training and encouragement so that they can compete with men and a common championship can be organized after a few years.

    I usually like to bring forward my knights early in the game and then strategically use the queen. I have been testing various moves and sometimes it leads to failures but I am sure it will be fruitful someday.

    Of course, it is fun to play with your beginner friends and get lucky with 2,3 or 4-move checkmate. 😀

    I haven’t read a lot of books on Chess strategy but I would recommend ‘Mind Master: Winning Lessons from a Champion’s Life’ by Viswanathan Anand. It gives a good insight into the preparations and strategies of a world champion. It has motivated me a lot.
