Akiba Kiwelowicz Rubinstein – Akiba Rubinstein was born on 1 December 1880 Stawiski, Poland. Rubinstein was granted the title International Grandmaster in 1950, at its inauguration. He died on 14 March 1961, in Antwerp, Belgium.
Semyon Furman – Semyon Furman was born on 1 December 1920 in Pinsk, Belarus. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 1966. He died on 16 March 1978 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Joshua Friedel– Joshua Friedel was born on 3 December 1986 in Goffstown, New Hampshire, United States. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 2008. His current rating is 2552.
