Al-Ain ACMG UAE become the new World Rapid Team Champions 2024

Following three days and twelve rounds, which included several of the best players in the world, Al-Ain ACMG UAE won nine matches, drew three, and scoring 21 matchpoints out of a potential 23.

With eight wins and four draws for a total of 20 matchpoints—just one behind Al-Ain—Decade China finished second, the only other team to stay undefeated.

Last year’s champions WR Chess took third place with 19 matchpoints. Last year’s bronze winners i.e. Team MGD1 from India led by India’s top-rated player Arjun Erigaisi secured fifth place with 17 matchpoints.
